What is a baby bottle campaign?
Our baby bottle campaign is an outreach opportunity for your church or group to support moms and families facing an unexpected pregnancy. Empty baby bottles are distributed to families to take home and fill with change, bills and cheques.
The campaign runs over a month, often between Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. It is managed by a volunteer who promotes the campaign, distributes the baby bottles and serves as liaison between the church and the Pregnancy Care Centre Gifts received during baby bottle campaigns are used to support moms and their families. Donations over $20 are issued a tax receipt.
How do I get my church or group started?
Talk with the leader of your church or group. One you are given permission, write (firstname.lastname@example.org) or call us (416-229-2607). We will help you in your plans and preparation. We provide baby bottles with donation card inserts, information for a table display and a prayer calendar for the participants. (link to the prayer calendar for children/ prayer calendar for adults) The Coordinator will reminder the participants about the collection date and deliver the bottles to the Pregnancy Care Centre’s office. Once the money has been tallied, we report back to you with the total that you have raised.
Thank you for participating in the PCC’s Baby Bottle Campaign.
