The Pregnancy Care Centre is excited to be a Ride for Refuge Charity this year! As we continue our Campus Outreach project in the fall of 2018 we will provide pregnancy support for students on downtown campuses in Toronto. Vulnerable students don’t need to feel alone in an unexpected pregnancy. They need to know that carrying their pregnancy to term does not mean they have to give up their education.
We envision a city where no woman faces an unexpected pregnancy alone; where every mother and father has access to care, support, and community; and where parents and their unborn children are treasured by all. Over the past 34 years, the PCC has supported over 5000 women and men in pregnancy decision making.
Many students deciding between abortion or giving birth feel isolated, afraid and alone. We don’t want anyone to believe that abortion is their only option.
It takes $500 to see one woman through a year of pregnancy. Our Ride for Refuge goal of $15,000 represents the support needed for 30 women and their families.
Let’s show these students we care!
