She’s pregnant. They don’t know what to do.
What would you say?
What would your first response be?
Students on Toronto university campuses making pregnancy decisions often feel alone and need support but don’t know where to find help. Many Christian students want to help but don’t know what to say. They feel uncertain about how to offer compassionate support to a fellow student making a life changing pregnancy decision.
In 2017, the Pregnancy Care Centre launched a new Campus Outreach program to support these students who want to make a difference on their campus. Our vision is to help students create a community where a pregnant student can feel supported and loved on campus. Carrying her pregnancy to term does not mean she has to give up her education.
How can you get involved?
Prepare yourself. She’s pregnant. They don’t know what to do. What would you say? What would your first response be? The “First Response” training will equip you to know how to offer life changing support to men or women making pregnancy decisions.
Connect. Connect with other students on your campus and work together to pray and promote pregnancy services towards the formation of a student club on your campus.
Pray. We need people to be praying for students who feel unsupported with their pregnancies on their campus.
Do you share our same vision?
